What are Instagram Games?

We all know that some (but not all) corals can be expensive. You may not be ready to make that financial commitment just yet, especially when you factor in shipping costs. Instagram games give you the opportunity to add that piece you’ve always wanted at a fraction of the price.

Here’s how it works:

  1. I will post a coral on instagram (@the_district_reef) that indicates how many spots are available and the price for each spot. Shipping has already been factored into the price, so there are no additional charges for the winner.

  2. Comment on the post indicating the number of spots you’d like to purchase. You can either pick your own spots from what’s available or we can randomly choose them for you.

  3. When all the spots fill, I will reach out to you for payment.

  4. Once everyone has paid their share, I will go live on Instagram (@the_district_reef) to spin the big wheel for a winner. Please note that we use wheelofnames.com. For those unable to join the live feed, the video will be posted to Instagram.

  5. The winner will have the option to add any items from the website for no additional shipping cost.

What is your shipping policy?

We ship all orders through UPS Next Day Air for arrival on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. However, we reserve the right to ship via FedEx Priority Overnight. Please note that we are only able to ship to the continental United States. Unless you specify a delivery date in your order, we will email you to set up a convenient day for you to receive your package. Once a delivery date is confirmed, we will provide a tracking number for your order.

How much is shipping?

We charge a flat rate of $39.99 for weekday delivery. Please understand that the cost of shipping and packing materials typically exceed that amount, so it costs us much more to ship out your items. As shipping costs continue to rise, we’re committed to hold our prices steady. As an added incentive, we offer FREE SHIPPING on orders above $349.99.

What is your DOA policy?

In the unlikely event that your coral is dead on arrival (DOA), we’ll make it up to you. Please send us a clear picture of the coral within 2 hours of the confirmed delivery time. The DOA picture must be CLEAR and OUT OF THE BAG. Once we verify that the coral is indeed DOA, we can offer you store credit on a future purchase. If we have a similar product in stock, we’ll offer to send you a replacement. Please note that the cost of shipping a replacement order will be paid by the buyer. Anything else I should know?

Once UPS/FedEx takes possession of the package, we have no control over the shipping process. You would need to contact customer service to help answer questions and track your order. However, we will do our best to assist you in any way we can.
